Recently, our South Florida Vice President spent a day on the job with a West Palm Beach junior technician. This was a training session on the proper techniques of performing a planned maintenance. Our VP -- formerly a tech himself -- also took the time to instruct the junior tech on the importance of making recommendations found during a planned maintenance call and how this brings value to customers by allowing them to make proactive repairs during off-peak times. Our junior tech was very appreciative of his personal training lesson from the boss and he says he has already started to implement the procedures he learned.
